Synopsis

Dr. Taylor is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology while competing on Maine’s championship basketball team.  After a year of professional basketball in Ireland, she attended East Stroudsburg University’s graduate program.  At ESU she earned a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology specializing in cardiac rehab. Dr. Taylor worked as a clinical exercise physiologist and a strength and conditioning coach at the United States Military Academy @West Point before earning her PhD in Exercise Physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. She has been an assistant professor at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA for the past 4 years where she has taught a variety of courses and focused her research on injury prevention in athletes and overall activity energy expenditure for athletics and the general population.
