Britta Schasberger MSPT, EdD is responsible for teaching Introduction to Research Methods I, Issues in Physical Therapy IV: Using Evidence-Based Practice, Clinical Decision Making and Issues in PT III – Psychosocial Aspects of Disability and Illness. Dr. Schasberger holds a Bachelor of Arts in Romance Philology from the University of Pennsylvania (1992), a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Widener University (1998), and a EdD in Special Education from Arcadia University (2006). Dr. Schasberger is licensed to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She has 22 years of experience as a clinician where her focus is in the care of pediatric patients. She contributes to professional practice through her work as a team member conducting developmental evaluations for eligibility for early intervention services. She has also authored book chapter on the examination and treatment of children with spina bifida. Dr. Schasberger has a scholarly agenda which focuses on teaching and learning specifically the use of multi-media in education, and the effectiveness of student created presentations on student learning and engagement.
