Research profile encompasses preclinical and clinical phases of drug development

  • Investigation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of antimicrobials using in vivo animal modeling designed experimentally to simulate various human infections.
  • Characterization of pharmacologic activity of drugs utilizing dynamic in vitro models constructed to mimic the human exposure in terms of changing concentrations and clearance.
  • Performing bench-top microbiological testing such as determination of minimum inhibitory concentration, time kill experiments, antibiotic synergy and phenotypic enzyme production.
  • Conducting retrospective analysis, case studies, surveillance studies and epidemiological data collection.
  • Designing and executing clinical trials with respect to patient screening, protocol implementation, patient follow up and data reporting. In addition, monitoring adhesion to contractual, legal and ethical obligations.
  • Performing computer-based pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling and prediction (population drug profiling and Monte Carlo simulations) along with statistical analysis.
